Coming up from PocoNotes:
The FACES and VOICES of The Blues
Friday, June 8, 2012 at 6:00pm - Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 4:00pm
Tripp Family Homestead
1011 North Main Avenue
Scranton, Pennsylvania
We are proud and honored to announce that we will be working with some good friends - and personal heroes - to bring you
"The FACES and VOICES of The Blues."
The photo exhibit will be the work of world-renowned Luzerne County resident,
Jim Gavenus. |
The storytelling and musical performance will be the mastery of the internationally-touring blues player and historian, Toby Walker. |

|
 |
The setting and stunning backdrop for all of this will be Lackawanna County's historic Tripp House, which is lovingly tended by Michael Gilmartin.
As the date draws closer, the details of this inaugural event - opening cocktail reception, guitar workshop/storytelling session, musical performance, photo exhibit and "meet and greet" with the artists - will be revealed.
It will be a tribute to the music...and those who have dedicated their lives to 'bringing it forward' for future generations to understand and appreciate.
When PocoNotes throws a party, everyone
has a great time!!!
